He is the Director of the Intellectual Property Discipline Committee at Tongji University, and a Senior Consultant and Practicing Attorney at Deheng Shanghai Law Firm. He previously served as Vice Dean of the Law School and Dean of the Intellectual Property School at Shanghai University. He is the Chief Expert of a Major Project of the National Social Science Fund, one of the first batch of National Intellectual Property Leading Talents, and an Expert in the National Intellectual Property Expert Database. He also serves as an Executive Council Member of the China Intellectual Property Law Research Association, an Executive Council Member of the China Law Association on Science and Technology, Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Research Association of the Shanghai Law Society, and Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Research Association.
