| Lei Wang currently serves as Intellectual Property Manager at Genlight Neurotech. She has been deeply engaged in the medical device IP field throughout her career, gaining hands-on experience in patent drafting and prosecution at a patent agency, as well as fully leading the establishment of an in-house IP management system from scratch at an enterprise. She has long focused on innovative medical devices in the areas of brain‑computer interfaces and neurointerventional technologies.
Ms. Wang has been involved in the entire lifecycle of IP work, from early‑stage R&D and industrialization to overseas market expansion, and is able to formulate tailored IP management strategies for different stages of business development. She ensures IP planning and risk control are integrated at every critical R&D milestone. She oversees the parallel protection of patents and trade secrets, manages the selection, cooperation, and quality control of external IP agencies, and participates in building IP teams and nurturing talent within a global business context.
In her daily work, she is responsible for patent mining, FTO (freedom‑to‑operate) infringement risk analysis, domestic and international portfolio management for patents and trademarks, IP management standard certification, and applications for various science and technology special projects. She is well‑versed in regulatory compliance and the commercial development logic of the medical device industry, and is capable of establishing standardized IP management systems tailored to the company's actual business needs. Leveraging strategic IP planning, she supports the commercialization of technologies and the company's expansion into both domestic and overseas markets. |
